Small Worlds

I would read this author's grocery lists - his writing is so beautifully poetic! With tender musicality, this book examines family relations (particularly those of father and son), the experience of inhabiting a Black body in the UK, the highs and lows of constructing a community, and how to find your path if you have lost your way. It is emotional, joyous, grief-stricken, and celebratory - this piece is the equivalent of an extended song.
